I have an 06 900 that has a faulty fuel pump. The issue I’m running into after doing some research is that the 06 is regulated to 8 bar and the 05/07 is regulated to 4 bar. 06 pumps are no longer available new. My question is can I run an 05/07 pump at 8 bar with any longevity? I’m half tempted to find a high pressure external fuel pump and find a way to mount it under the hood.
