03 Ski-Doo 600 HO suddenly sluggish

I was riding toward the end of last winter and my 03 Ski-Doo 600 HO suddenly became very sluggish (it happened over about a half hour's time.) Idling sounds fine, but it has very little power. It's also a little slow to start now. I've been told the carburators on these things are very reliable and probably not the problem. Someone else suggested it could be the reeds. Any Suggestions before I blindly rip it apart or take it in?
