Time to clean up the garage!!!
A few years back I broke a connecting rod in my RT and caused quite a bit of carnage. The damage was not repairable so I ended up getting another engine. Since that time the old engine has sat on the workbench taking up space, and it's time for it to go!! It will be easiest to list what isn't good, everything else is up for grabs. I am just starting the cleanup process so please bear with me until I can get pictures and prices up. In the mean time I'm willing to accept reasonable offers on parts and can get pictures posted of those parts as needed. Also I will try to respond as quickly as possible to your posts and PM's, but life is busy right now, so don't get discouraged if it takes a day or 2 for me to get back to you. I want this stuff gone, so I will respond, it just may or may not be right away. Engine had about 1600 miles on it.
Ok, so the parts of the engine that are not good are:
Top half of the crank case
Cylinders
Half of one reed valve
Pistons
One Connecting Rod
Parts that have been SOLD:
Bottom half of the crank case
Water Pump and Housing
Oil Pump
Water/Oil Pump Shaft
Rave Valve Assembly
Fuel Rail and Injectors
Balance Gears
Piston Pins
Throttle Cable
Those are the parts I know for sure are not usable. The crank looks to be in good condition from what I can tell. There are a couple of marks/nicks on it from flying debris when the connecting rod broke, but other than that all the bearings move freely and everything else seems to be fine. Obviously you would want to have it checked out before using it, but I just want to put out the information I know. As I disassembled the engine I just threw most of the bolts into a bucket, so if you need any of those I would rather just get rid of those as 1 lot. I won't know what bolt goes to what at this point.
That pretty much covers the engine. I do have a few misc. oil lines, coolant hoses, coolant reservoir and the engine mounts as well.
