I'm boosting my 2010 m8 with cutler stage 1. I will be running 2000feet at home and 7000-9000 I'm the hills.I live in Alberta. I'll be running the 09 low comp head and would like to stay on 91 octane fuel. I've heard ov the 3 degree e key. Should I be running it as well? If I wanna run 91? Any help would be great. Turbo shud be installed on wed. And will be riding sat in the hills. Just wanna have everything lined up for the first trip. Thanks Jeremy.

All depends on what boost you want to run at what elevation. But I don't agree with the timin key an low comp head. That's too much. Only time ppl use them is with the HO head. An to be honest I ran HO head for half the year but I ran 100 LL.

I wanna stick with 91 octane. At 2000-9000feet. So from what Dale cutler told me and posts I've seen with low comp head I can run 4-5 psi at 2000 on 91 and 7-8 at 7-9000 on 91.

Sounds about right but no need for timing key on top of that. I've never Rode a whole day back home at the 2200 feet in last 3 years cuz not enough snow. But I've tested mine on good long pulls in field at 8-10 pounds on 100 LL so I see no reason why you couldn't ride the whole day at 5-6 on 91. But maybe some guys with more low elevation time can tell you more.

Ya the lower the elevation the better fuel you need. U can get away with less octane fuel an higher boost the higher elevation you go.

I have lots of miles on at 860ft elev. I run 8-10 psi on 100LL with stock HO head and a timming key. Forget about running straight 91 at least down low and run av gas as it doesnt cost much more and 91 at 2000ft is a waste of a turbo in my opinion.
