IMPORTANT UPDATE MOUNT BAKER SHOOT OUT

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE ON SHOOT OUT - PLEASE SHARE
We have a SNOW SITUATION! (I can't believe we are having this issue, we are usually begging for some fresh for Shoot Out)
The snow is 18 inches deep at the turnoff on Baker Lake Highway! We have had received 60 inches of snow in 4 days. Our groomer has been working for days trying to keep up with the snow.
We are working on getting more machinery up there Thursday morning to clear the road, the hill and the parking lot
We are asking that everyone stay out of the snowpark until Thursday afternoon.
The weather shows a warming trend later in the week. So we are hopeful we can get this taken care of but we need your to help by keeping the road and parking lot clear.
The hill is not accessible to campers or trailers at this point. Sketchy for trucks. Chains are required.
Please wait to come camp and ride until Thursday afternoon. We must have the parking lot empty to clear it.
Northwest Glacier Cruisers just wants everyone to be safe and have a fun weekend.
Stay tuned for more updates. We are scrambling to get this done so we can have a AWESOMELY DEEP event on Saturday.
Thank you!

Problem solved Road is melted out. It was already pouring rain at the bathrooms on our way down last night. The trail was great on the way up but was already getting soft and slushy. The parking lot was a soupy muddy mess. Telemetry shows it likely rained up to over 5k feet last night. Sorry to say the epic conditions are probably over. Avy danger is going to spike. The last two days was some of the deepest pow i've seen at baker, even better than than this last weekend. Left side was essentially untouched for the 130in storm cycle. No one else even left the meadow that we saw.
