Tried to search the forum on my own but I am no good with this computer stuff.
I got an 05 switchback 900 144. Looking to put a 2 or 2-1/4 lug and maybe a 151, my questions are:

1: how big of lug can I put
2: what pitch am I looking for in a track
3: how far do I need to extend my rail to go to a 151, is it only 4 inches?
4: can I instal a newer belly and bumpers to give the 08 and up look?
5: what rmp should the sled engage at I'm assuming its stock expect for the jaws can and maybe pipe
6: my fuel gage comes on when all the lights start up at first and the goes away so no fuel gage. Ever hear of this?

That's enough questions to start with I'm sure I will have plenty more ha ha

Thanks for the help and sorry if u get these questions all the time I will get someone to show me how to search the thread some time.

1, 2"easy maybe 2-1/4
2, 2.52 pitch
3, just get 151 rail extensions, tracksusa.com
4, yes.
5, I think stock is 4500 rpm
6, dunno

Read the stickies,... very first threads that always show up when you go into the 900 forum!

Clutch engagement depends on your setup. Anywhere around 3500 RPM or higher is good for a 900.

My friend had his fuel gauge stop working... we never did figure out the problem, just put in a gas cap from a 2007+ sled that has the gauge built in the cap.

159 used a longer tunnel. you will need a tunnel extension to run it or your flap will be right next to the track and catch on the track while riding.

144 and 151 use same tunnel

159 and 166 use same tunnel.
