Just bought 08' nytro mtx 153'' with 1100miles. Had 09'm1000 162'' with pipe and misc. Will I have enough power with the 180hp kit or should I jump at the 240hp kit. A buddy has an 10' 153'' 800 rtr at 200hp will 180hp kit even come close. Thanx for any help.

Personally I would jump on the 240 kit. The 180 will serve in most conditions, but the 240 won't leave you wishing for more.
X2 on the 240 kit. I've got one on my 09 and glad I did. Does everything I want it to do.

Rode a 180 kit and it was very impressive and would take a well setup M1000 all day long. If you want to up grade later you can add the parts you need and get more power... but for the price I'd go with the 180 kit and have fun, unless you like to climb the really step stuff, then go with the 270 kit.
ahh, just do the rods and pistons and do the 330 kit, its just money!!
