KMS Turbo KTM 450

So final tuning today and it ships next week.... For all that are interested this was a bike I picked up from the owner of KMS and he already had the bigbore, cnc porting, head studs and throttle body with a low comp piston. I added a turbo. I went with a broader power curve then a peak power dyno queen.... I wanted something with a midrange and would stay in one piece. The mid range is where it shines with the big bore.. you get 35 percent more HP on the midrange and hit peak for 3000 rpm longer at peak HP..

Jacket ordered... I am ready for the snow to show up!

Ok guys first ride out ... It was an animal... This is what it is... It makes a 4 stroke ride like a 2 stroke but I have crazy long gearing... I am running 13 17 then 20 on top and 17 on the bottom on the ts Lt ... 3 foot early season bottomless powder pulls like a freight train forever... Had a 2nd injector controller go bad which I think was bad luck... So kms replaced and overnighted to make it right... Every phone call was answered 1st ring first ride out... I can not express how happy I am with his responsiveness after you have paid him... Map was adjusted (small lean spot midrange) ... So I will report back.. but man I am so happy with the power... I will post videos next ride out along with a better report with the replacement box.. at the end of the day it feels like the power of a sled with all the good attributes of a snowbike we love....
