That 700 was just as advertised. Polaris never hinted or Dynoed they just put it as they were ..

Lay Down !!!! They did ! You start them and get on, apply throttle and it would lay down all day.

I do know of a REVolutionary eXtra Performance engine that was on par with Dragons the PileTek was sure to disappoint on a good powder day. The junk yards here bypass them even if it's a steal. They can't find enough cranks to make it worth the hassle !

Haha, they did seem to have some of the same problems. Doo eventually gave the PTEK a little more clearance to survive while Poo decided to try again a decade later. It's a miracle they can get the same engine to run for a Sunday driver and daily racer pounding the living daylights out of them. Over the years they got a little smarter and built them for the pounders lol

I am suspecting taht bmp corecting up the dyno numbers, in Norway does all the 800ccm motors dyno around 142-146hp, but all dyno test in usa tells 155+ hp, can anybody clear that for me?

I cant blive taht polaris makes 2 different ecu maps, and wy have all the dyno testing in Norway showen 8-10hp lover than all the dynos in the usa in many years, one exempel is the pro ride 800 that all of the us dynos shows 155+ hp but evry dyno test in Norway shows 136-138hp why is that?

Scandinavian dyno numbers are "always" significantly lower than numbers conceived in USA/Can.

Seems to be a large difference in how a dyno test is done depending on which side of the Atlantic it is performed. Scandi numbers are usually around 10hp lower, sometimes more. Weirdly the equipment is usually the same......

IF there is a difference in mapping it would be to our benefit since Sleds sold in Scandinavia does not have to fulfill EPA regulations and should be able to run a little stronger. In the early CFI 800 days Polaris dabbled with special Euro-mappings but since then I don't think they have made a difference.
