If you can still be a Ford hater after this video you need help. I've ridden in the 275 tune and it's sick. It's crazy to think for a extra 2K you can get this kind of horsepower for your daily driver. That people are getting some serious miles on this tune with the stock tranny is the most impressive. As soon as my Duramax is paid off it's time to go Spartan.

uhh.. that video was pretty lame, especially if you're trying to show off what the Spartan can do. Any truck could pretty much go in a grass field and do that.

Well asphalt anyway.:D

Mega go to utube if you want the impressive sled dragging vids . I'm just saying go buy any new truck and add 2K worth of mods and get it as powerful and reliable as these new Fords. IMO it's not going to happen. But I'm sure there's plenty of excuses to why.

Here is a good example 12.27 @ 109.56mph with a tune, intake and tires. There are a bunch of these on Youtube.

I guess he did have a Suncoast transmission but plenty of guys are running the stock 5R110 and having no issues, Spartan does recommend a TCM for the 275 and 310hp tunes. My truck is about 6 weeks away from getting the Spartan 250hp.. Take care...Jeff

The information is out there, read the diesel forums and ask the guys how long they have been tuned and what issues they have had. This kind of performance out of tune and intake is not lame, not to mention the increased mileage and the elimination of oil dilution caused by the DPF regeneration process.

Don't get me wrong there are drawbacks such as the risk of losing your warranty and removing emission equipment. Everyone has to make their own decision and weigh the risks verses rewards.
