Cascade is awesome!! My boss lives in Cascade and I get over there 2 to 3 weeks a year. West Mt is the most popular but gets ridden out fast and is my least fave spot but there are a lot of better places to ride in the area. PM me and I will give you some scoop or maybe go same time as you and hook you up with us.
I know some locals that ride to the gas station from their house, then ride west mtn. You could stay at ashley inn or bears night inn and ride across the lake. I dont think I would ask permission, just give her a go.
