Since last night was supposed to be the night that everybody with inside information was supposed to know what Arctic Cat had to unveil for 2016. What are the changes that Cat made. Two got leaked out, but they got removed.

You know, I never understood why Cat or any manufacturer would care if some info leaked out a little early on a new sled. I would think all the buzz would be a good thing. They better give us Cat guys something to get excited about. I'm already gonna have an Axys in the stable for next year. They better pull something out of their hat.

Same here. Just saw that one picture with the new front end with new shocks, spindles and something that looked like new more narrow a-arms.
Suspension looked like it had more cut out parts too :)

Just so you guys know whats going on.
The image that was posted here on SnoWest last night was a COPYRIGHTED image that Arctic Cat provided to the Snowmobile Industry Press as part of a pre-release media kit. Each person that got it had to sign off on a non-disclosure agreement.

They saw that image posted here and asked that we remove it until the "release date" arrives.

It wasn't a spy photo, it was an outright stolen photo.

So Cat does look at these threads. Yet still does not produce what the mountain market wants stock... Great job Cat. Even as much as I love my 15, I spent $6K in aftermarket parts to get it where I wanted (with a stock motor still)... the new Polaris is THAT much more tempting now. Pull your heads out of your azz and give the people what they want. That is, if you have the capability...

That is so true! Cat should really start to listen to the customers and to what they want :)

I wish someone could make a retro fit kit for more narrow body!

I heard a rumor of a new hood or redesigned hood so they fit better with less snow ingestion. That is about all I know from the rumor mill. Possibly a longer track upgrade in a 3" also. Maybe a 174"

I was just informed!!

But, I cannot and will not spill em.. AHHHhh!! I'm scaring myself thinking about it! So many questions... !!! March 1, 2015 has never held so much anticipation!! I've got probably close to 18-19k into a 2014, its a N/A 800 with all the trinkets/fixes... anyone want to buy it? 7xx miles?? Cheap!

Is it that good of change that it's worth selling my turbo Pro rmk800? I assume if the cat makes changes that the yamaha will get same changes, and that's what I'm leaning towards is a great mountain chassis with turbo yamaha motor and clutches!!

Thats what I have. 2015 M7000 with MPI stage II turbo. It is a really fun sled. I was a big 1100T guy for the first couple years. The M7000 with a turbo is so much better than the 1100T. You can still feel the weight over an M8, but the Yammi motor on boost runs so much better than the 1100T. Cat drops us a 174, 3 inch lug M7000 its going to be awesome!

I'm really hoping for narrower panels and weight reduction and I'm all in! Oh and belt drive, could care less about reverse. Yes very much agree yamaha boost way better than cat boost.

I have a friend with a boosted 7000 and he is loving it! He used to be the biggest Yamaha guy I ever knew of with turboed and supercharged Yamahas. He cant say enough good things about the new 7000.
