ECU reflash (240 HP)
Lightweight battery (I think -10 lbs)
Skinz mesh hood -15lbs (new info)
Skinz air frame running boards
Skinz seat
Skinz bumpers (front and back)
Lightweight muffler (-10lbs)
Turbo blanket (reduce engine compartment heat, also reduce some of the heat shielding they have done)
Vertical steering kit
New rear skid (K-mod or Timbersled) (-10 lbs.)
2.5" or 3" track
38" front end kit
Venting on side panels
Clutching tweaks
Remove every conceivable ounce I can (hoping for more than -10lbs.)

That will be before first ride... We shall see after that....

Another fun project and build....

I would think the airframe boards, turbo blanket, bumpers, and track will all actually add some weight back on...maybe 10-15 even 20 pds....

Yes, some, but with turbo and intercooler in the nose of this thing, there is no way those flimsy stock bumpers are gonna stay on...

The air-frame boards are a must IMHO....

The other thing that is wild to me, is the weight difference of the turbo'ed and non, is 40 lbs. Surely there is some weight we can reduce there....

All just thoughts now though... :)

B1 Boost on the m8. The M1100T will get B1 down pipe and header,Vertical post, Top secret boost and fuel control, 3 inch 174 ( looks like it might fit if not) 162x2.5 CE. this is a starting point. If the M1100T still dont get it done.... Im liking what Glenn (Hall) is doing with the head, cams, Bigger IC and a 2860 Garret.

How do you run a supercharger on a two stroke?

Saw a 2011 or early m8 with a supercharger up at the hill climbs in jackson today..... Sitting by the speedwerks booth so they are doing it somehow. Didn't talk to them about it or who made the kit for it so don't have any details. But I did see one.

Most likely what I'm going to do on my M8 is what ever Eric recommends or has had good results with other than boost...... Prolly just a pipe/can and fuel controller or something like that.
