I would have to say yes, its the same case and same chassis

Chassis are the same for battery box.
Both big block motors are the same for mounting the starter.
800 clutch is slightly different than the 700. Look at the raised clutch face the 800 has vs. the 700 and you will see the difference. 800 has more beef where the clutch bolt goes thrugh the outer case of the primary.
