This is my 3rd season on this , last year I noticed these verticel cracks on the side. I taped it up, rode it yesterday it split open again.

My mounts are good , it doesn't over heat.

I sent an Email to Paul -- My 9 doesn't vibrate I ride it way too fast for that.

Ouch...How about a two part epoxy to mend and seal it ? Doesn't look like a seam split but almost like a puncture, can't see any interference/rub marks.
I fabbed my own cold air intake with aluminum pipe ( cold air intake kit )

Get a plastic welding kit, it'll be good as new.
