Good rider, nice steep hill, decent snow, side hills good with out wash out and a sled with pretty decent track speed, can tell by snow evacuation.. This Sled is going to kick butt next year..

Still seams like doo is losing out some because of ski lift.. It looks good in videos like this, but compared to similar sled with skis glued down would make his sled look silly.. Aftermarket will be needed forsure.. For the steep and deep

As for bigger power as in a turbo can produce I think the 165 will not be the answer.. Worth holding off a year..

I think it looks kinda silly now, to imagine a 165 inch sled with only 165 ish hp , keeps that little amount of track on the ground , says it certainly is gonna need some attention, whether after market or major tuning.

Its cause the 850 has so much torque duh.... Haha in all seriousness what is the issue? Is it really that the attack angle is bad?

Attack angle I'm guessing is fine, but when you add big hp in front you need a skid that is able to maintain and transfer weight to the front of the sled preventing ski lift.. The longer track 174 over a 165 also has the leverage factor that helps hold skis down

If your just crushing rear of skid and lifting track and skis, then your losing by not utilizing full track on the snow and much harder to ride technical with your shoulders over the course of a day

Nice video

Good riding for sure... Watch the skid though it's just maxed out... My axys did same thing I tightened shocks and still did. K mod skid and it's a whole diff sled. I'd like to see the 850 w a good shock package or skid replacement?

Chubby

The 850 is chubby. Better than xm but not by much! Look at start of video when it's warming up next to truck... Wide old girl! I did have a lot of fun on the 850 and was almost convinced to add one along side my turbo axys but not quite. I'll see what happens next from doo first. Although if you did k mod skid on it the t motion is gone and better suspension??? Problems solved!

I've never heard 20 hp but I have rode it all over mt baker. The power is awesome and torque too... I would hope a 850 would have more than a 800 axys? What I do know is my axys at 7 lbs silber is still 20 lbs lighter and manuvers better still. I almost bought the 850 to add along side my axys but not quite yet. Here's something to consider.... 3 doo guys in my group opted out of 850 to get axys? But I bet as the 850 improves I'll own one in 4 years too. You're also watching some one ride who knows how. Most ppl w mtn sleds use bout 50% of what they are worth.
