2018 Running Temps

Picked up a new 2018 RMK 800 on the weekend. I'm surprised how much better it is than my old Pro with SLP stage 3.

The engine was running cold, only 91F. I know the 2018 have a colder thermostat (110F vs 120F). I'm pretty sure the thermostat needs to be changed. Anyone else have issues with thermostats? Should it not be running at 110F?

They run 94 degrees F give on take a degree in the powder.

In deep snow they will run low 90's. My 18 is the same way.

Mine runs about 95-97 degrees in fresh snow. Before it was broke-in, ran as low as 90 degrees in the fresh.

Thanks for the information guys. Just seams off that they run colder than what they state the thermostat is set at.

If the thermostat is closed where is the cooling coming from? I though may be it was stuck open.

Nope, its normal, kinda freaked me out first ride too, wondered why it wasnt getting warm! But definately seems to run better and more constistant then the older setup.

Mine runs 91 to 93 in good snow
