16 Axys Knock

Not sure if I am being paranoid, but my 16 Axys has a knock that I have not noticed before at idle. The idle has always been a bit rough, and the knock mimics the exhaust note. You don't really hear it when revving above idle, but hard to tell. It is not a click, more of a knock and seems to be on the PTO side. I took the primary off to make sure it wasn't coming from the clutching, and it was still there.

Something to worry about? Anything to check?

How many miles?

Is there any up and down movement when you grab the clutch?

What do you mean by up and down motion? Pushing the clutch up and down (not spinning)? Or something else?

Yes, lifting on the clutch-- almost as if you were lifting the motor by it. Trying to see if you have any play in your crank bearings.

Absent any obvious mechanical issues, sounds like lean idle knock.
