Hard throttle lever on my 670x

Hello!
I ride a 1999 summit 670x and it's great, except the throttle lever. I understand that the lever is hard on these models because its pulling the carbs directly. But is there any way i can make the lever more softer to pull? Do you guys have any tips?

We used to take the top off the carbs and cut about two coils off of the spring.....It helps some.

Put the 2 stage throttle off a 98 and it helps alot, I have a new one at my house some where p/m me if interested

You could also cut a coil or two off the carb slider springs that helps was done on my 670 still returns fine and easier throttle pull
