Recognize this rubber plug?

Changing my fuel filter. While disconnecting all the wires in front of the oil tank, I spied this little rubber plug sitting there. Where could have it come from? Just sitting there on that little ledge.20170220_174643.jpg20170220_174728.jpg

Oh oh. Don't you just hate that?

Got no clue really. Guessing,,, Power Commander plug?, Cell phone boot?, Multi meter "foot"?, Impact gun bumper?

Godda ask though, do you use a cover when you transport? Poor sled, shame on you,,, but I see it all the time.

Wow those were some good guesses! Pretty embarrassing actually, it was the button outta my work light.

Didn't take me long to figure that out. But it was in such a wierd spot. Usually that type of thing will slide in under the engine never to be found again.

Yes I DO use a covers always! Except for a couple weeks ago, trailered a half mile up the road to go ice fishing. Went slow and I even have mud flaps. Live an learn I guess. I'll be washing everything out as part of all the other stuff I'm doing. Season just getting going for me; hoping to head out west next week!
