Yep--2-3' fresh in the San Juans and still snowing. Avy danger is off the charts, but hopefully by the weekend it settles some. Long time coming.

I agree that we were due a good one, and the AVY danger has to be ridiculous bad right now. The last I saw we are supposed to get anthor round next weekend!
Just downhill of two drifts, the transition between the two crashed me, and that was me trying to get out. That was a #&$* load of wind drift and I just submarined!! I thought it was SO COOL though, that I was buried up to my handlebars, not so cool the 20 min it took to get outta there. I'll take that ANY DAY!! What a great weekend!
Jerks! We got NOTHING in WA. We are pretty much down to dirt everywhere. Send us the GOODS!

Sorry, but we were do for the goods. I had thought about removing my kit to do some dirt bike last week. I'm happy I kept it on. I hope you get the goods and we will take your table scraps. doudea do you know what Black Mesa got? also do you snowbike? If so we are headed to Barlow this weekend. PM me if interested

Well, not to be Debbie Downer, but 3' of powder on top of 3' of sugar, with a short track, does not make for fun. Well, it was still fun, but going downhill and going up to your chest, and then digging, and riding on the rev limiter all day, and then getting so clogged in the airbox (despite serious sealing) that even with a Dobeck the bottom end was dumping fuel into the system... Couldn't do much. My buddy's LT did much better (mine's a '14, his a '15), but even so we were tiptoeing and poaching tracks. And a sled buddy set off a decent slide.
Be careful what you wish for. Hopefully it sets up. Due for another 3' in the next 4 days. Time to ski.
