Having a hard time finding an answer on this. I can get either one for the same price. I am assuming the 16 st is the way to go. Any thoughts?

I would think so. Better shocks aren't they? There was also something else that the 16's have that doesn't come on the raw but I forgot what it was. They're both brand-new right?

If it was me I would go with the 2016 st especially if it is new. You get better shocks and also get the convex arm which the raw track kit does not have.

The RAW doesn't have the front flex arm. The flex arm helped with the old track, but I'm not sure it's needed with the convex track.

If it were me, I'd get the RAW. The shock valving on the Raw that I rode was much stiffer than the 16 ST. You also get the new/stiffer side panels and rails which give the kit a more rigid feel than what the 16's had.

The raw doesn't have grease fittings !

I dont think any of the 17s have grease fittings. My 17 LE ST does not. Instructions say to disassemble and grease. The theory is the 17 side panels have less flex amd that was causing bearing wear. We will see. Not a very convenient way to get grease in now??
