when I get my 2013 sled, I may have the opportunity to swap the 2.6" powerclaw track that it will come with to a 2.25" 85 durometer powerclaw for essentially nothing.

I will be riding all sorts of conditions. trails, mountains, firm snow, deep powder. out here we get big storms, but it gets warm pretty quickly after and the snow sets-up really fast. our snow is known as "sierra cement."

I am thinking the 2.6" lug might be too much track. any thoughts?
advice on what I should do?

thanks

For me i would go 2.6! But if your on harder snow a majority of the time the stiffer duro really shines.. Do they not make an 85 duro 2.6?

Tough choice..

I think whoever made u that deal saw u coming. My thought is u could pretty easily swap a 2.6" for a 2.25+cash. Probably a couple $100. Maybe I'm wrong but I'd shop around before I gave my word on that deal.

Just my .02

can you really not tell what everyone is telling you??? YES the 2.6 is going to be much more desired.

whoa partner... just asking simple question, just wanted to clarify!! I understand it will be more desired in deep snow, but that is a rarity. like I said, the snow around here sets-up and compacts pretty fast.
thanks

the 2.6 is going to be much more desired.

this is a good way to put it. The 2.6 is a more expensive option. Some will live it b/c all they ride is deep and steep. If u rise harder snow like u say then the 2.25 will prob make u look like the man and u can make a couple hunsonom the side. More sled gas beer cheeseburgers part accessories....whatever u r into.

Which is "better" is relative to each person.
