Just bought an 05 rmk 900 and it only has between 10 to 11 volts at any rpm. The stator tests good but the capacitor is bad it takes less than 10 seconds to be fully drained after charging it up. So will a bad capacitor cause the voltage to be low and also the voltage is not constant at all it is always jumping in between 10 to 11 volts. Thanks alot for the help.
