TPS question ?

Hi
My question on the TPS is can I run with out it hookt up ?
I ran it befor with it not hookt up to the carbs (forgot to hook it back up) and dident notice a difrence !
What I'm trying to do is try out some difrent carbs that don't have the TPS !
I have a cuttler TPS block but don't have the proper cabel for the carbs/TPS .
Can I run it without hurting anything ?
Or what will happen ?

I burned both pistons once when I forgot to plug it back up after working on the carbs. I thought it was supposed to go into some sort of a safe mode when that happened but mine sure didn't. I would be really careful, watch the plugs and the piston wash closely.

You can re-flash you ECU w/D&D's map to eliminate the TPS, this will load two maps in your system. Unplug TPS you have the custom map you purchased, plug back in and your back stock ign. map. Pretty simple. Unplug 1D ECU, Plug-in 3D ECU. But you have to pay for a re-flash. Also pending on your elevation you can have your timing advanced internally so you can ditch the static timing key.....
