hey there guys/gals,
was riding at about 750' and when my sled would hit 8300 rpm, it would cut back to 6500 like RIGHT now and almost pitch me over the bars. this was at wide open, when i backed off the throttle to around 50-60%, the sled would even out and i could mash it open again and she would scoot up to 8300 and hold it.
checked exhaust valves, clean and good; reeds look good; no apparent scoring or piston damage as seen through the exhaust port; plugs look good...... i dunno anymore.
could questionable gas be causing me the grief of making det sensor go off?
any comments welcome...... supposed to be hitting revelstoke next weekend for a couple of days... hope its the octane and low elevation causing problem.....
