Hey guys. 2006 900...I had a manifold bolt rattle out. Does anyone know what length, thread , and what grade or stainless I should use?

I used 8mm x 1.25 pitch x 25mm stainless with lock washers. If I replace a bolt on anything I try and use stainless unless I need a high grade bolt. If they fall out again I'll try and find those nord lock washers. They look petty interesting.

Believe me, the NordLock's are worth every penny they cost.
They are reusable and pretty much the only nut/bult lock system that can cope with both severe heat and vibration.
Get them now and spare yourself having to buy new exhast gaskets and bolts again.

Then use NordLock washers to secure the bolts.
You will never have a loose or lost bolt again.

Another vote for the NordLocks! I had two exhaust bolts rattle out on a ride. Did new gaskets, stainless bolts, and those NordLock's from McMaster Carr and have never had a problem since in three seasons. Great product! I also switched to the metal SLP exhaust gaskets fwiw.
