has anyone tried converting a xtx to a mtx. If so whats envolved and / or can you put a 2" X 16" X 144 on a xtx?

You will want to remove the tunnel protectors from inside the tunnel, replace the drivers with extroverts (7 tooth), and grind down any protruding rivets/bolt heads that would interfere with the 16"wide. Remove as many idler wheels as possible, and add ice scratchers instead. Finally, remove the swaybar as the XTX has the wide front end with high quality shocks that can be adjusted to compensate for it being gone. Add a bar riser for stand up mtn. riding, and your done...easy!

Don't forget you will need drop brackets to make a 16" clear
