Upgrading to Rev or XP

I've got a 2000 Ski-Doo 700 Highmark that has been a great sled, but it's time to upgrade. I've seen a lot of '07 Revs for sale as well as '08 XP's. I'm not sure which way I should go with all of the issues people have been having with the XP's. Also thinking about maybe going to an '09. Around here I've only found one dealer with a holdover '08 Everest left in the showroom and they will only drop the price down about $300 lower than an 09Everest. Any thoughts on this would be a tremendous help. Thanks...

$300 difference...that is a no brainer! Get the 09 XP. You will be extremely happy with the power and handling ability of the new chassis.

Hey, Silver, I'm in Spokane, I'm going tonight to Pinehurst to check out the '09 Everest. Some dealer's here in Spokane aren't really up for green cash I guess.

I bought my 08 from Pinehurst and now deal exclusively with Specialty Recreation in CDA. I would encourage you to give them a shot. Specialty has really taken care of me on the service of my 2008 when Pinehurst didn't want to give me the time of day after the sale.

I called specialty and their price was a lot higher than Pinehurst. Maybe I'll call them back and see if they can work with me a little more. Thanks for the info.

take the 09 and let the dealer doo all the updates and deal with some of the issues like clutch alignment--08 should be at least a grand cheaper
