funny last post at DTR was 4.9.18 did realize there was a production 850 out at this time.
Its only a mater of time tho but we need snow to get them past breakin. DTR numbers on the cat was still in break in mode. will see if the 19 doo numbers stay the same or if it gets cut back.

Break-in can be done on an engine or track dyno ;)

So this doesn't help validate dtrs numbers. Most break-ins now require a hundred miles or 20 minutes on the ECU

you have a production motor and a dyno?

There was a post on Facebook showing one hooked up to an engine dyno saying it was at Dynotech so guessing that's what he's referring to. It very well could be a production model considering they started showing up at dealers this week. I'm assuming that's where the o.p.'s numbers came from. Or someone pulled them out of thin air.

Did a little research and supposedly the 174 hp number is the Terra Alps 840 stroker motor.

me too and lots of flaws in DTRr numbers...as a member I will be happy to posts sooooo many of them. just look at the 900 + cat BB I can put up many + problems he has masked. And this is just the start. I love what DTR does but he has an agenda as a PAID provider. believe it or not.

Competition Is Good

Let the HP wars begin (again)! We as fanatic sled buyers can only benefit from the manufactures each trying to outdo each other. In actually, it is a blessing that we, the consumers, get so, so much each year in innovation from the manufactures, considering the overall tiny yearly market share of sales of about 150,000 sleds between the 4 sled manufactures. That's a very small market in any domestic companies annual sales! Just Sayin'

Ok let the cat out of the bag. What are the flaws? What manufacturers pay DTR? If your gonna post crap about a sled service, you need to back it up.

Got to love conspiracy theorists. Easier to cry wolf than to back-up a claim :face-icon-small-ton Since we are on Snow WEST, those who ride very high in elevation like 10,000 feet, need a dyno test done higher to really count.
