The pontoon already has a 4 speaker system installed, but I want to add an amp and subs. It is running a honda 40 4 stroke and from what I can gather the alternator only generates about 10 amps. I am guessing the little alternator would fry if a large amp was hooked up.
My only thought is to add a seperate battery to just run the amp and charge frequently???? Any other alternatives???
