Search is your friend. Ton of threads on this topic.

I ran them on my apex's. But that was with custom built under tunnel exhaust and a custom seat which is designed for under tunnel. The pot was accessed through the zippered "trunk" compartment. It was bad ***! lol

Seems it would be pretty easy with a "normal" exhaust location on the viper.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I AM DOING WRONG?
I searched muffpot, muff pot, and hot dogger under the viper forums
and the only thread that comes back in the search is mine.

The short answer is yes, a bunch of us have mounted muffpots on our sleds. Stock exhaust is too big though and there isn't much room left to fit one. With an aftermarket can you can mount one vertically on the front side pretty easy.

Thanks Moto, thats what I was wondering
tried to search but, I have not found the "tons of threads on this"
just mine!

I think almost all the newer sleds have the same/similar issue. The stock exhaust can just takes up too much space and there isn't enough room under the hood anymore to mount the can to the expansion chamber on a 2 smoke. The older sleds were a different story, my Mom used to pack 2 hotdoggers under the hood and fed half the crew with her 1M900.
