~Sunday's Acrobats~

On Friday I put out the call on Facebook that I was looking for Acrobats to take pictures of on Sunday. A couple of guys, who have inappropriately chosen the name NorthWest Amateurs, answered and did NOT disappoint!

How the day started

Brandy I am still grinning from ear to ear, can't wait for the next chance to get out there! Hopefully there is still enough snow to get in some trouble up there! :face-icon-small-win

Oh Lord....if sled technology was only what it is today when I was 22 and pre-broken-bones-and surgeries..

The skidoo formula plus was a model T compared today's sleds.

Nice work. Enjoy it boys and girls. Just take care of your body. Crutches and surgeries suck.

Wow, really nice riding and pics. I stayed out of the hills last weekend because of the high avy danger warnings on NWAC. They made note of how dangerous the corniches are becoming too. That one sure was tested...

Yeah it was sliding pretty bad on saturday...But Sunday it wasn't nearly as bad, it had gotten really cold saturday night, so that might be why it wasn't as bad on sunday..

I was watching some of the bigger cornices and they would have a chunk fall off and roll down the hill with no one touching them. Luckily the snow underneath was solid and so nothing else was moving.

. Crutches and surgeries suck.

No kidding. I kinda felt bad for how badly these guys were limping at the end of the day... but they were still grinning! ;)

I am still sporting a couple bruises, but can't wait for another go.
And don't worry about the leg, my knee is made of titanium! :face-icon-small-ton

We rode Lake Anne/Van Epps the weekend before and the only big slides were from corniches collapsing. There were ice blocks as big as a van mixed in. You guys(girls) are safe and that is all that matters. I can't think of a bigger man made trigger than 3 sleds in a big drop though. If it didn't slide from that you are good to go. The avy report was talking about 6 foot deep wet slides and those are killers so we stayed home. And it sucked to not ride. Again, great riding and photography. It is awesome when someone has the skills to catch someone being awesome.

Sunday ride/photo shoot!!!

Luke45 and Ryan 625- Nice to meet you guys! Props for all the big air. Sweet!!!

Quote of the day when Ryan was preparing to drop the cornice while clearing a gap.....Ethan- "Dude, whatever you do don't come up short"!! LOL

Oh, it's gonna be an interesting day!!

Great job guys!

B's photography skills are awesome!

All I can say is wow!!!! I like the photography and the stunts.

Its nice to know there is such a vast range of experience's possible.

I am so happy enjoying the safer range of play but I am so impressed by this sort of stuff.

Made you turn around didn't it! lol
All I could think was "thanks Ethan" that one had me a little on edge as it was! I wasn't sure what speed to carry so I did the 5mph rule...do what you think you should do, but add 5mph! :face-icon-small-win

And thank you for all the compliments! We appreciate the feedback.
