MAX RPM in memory

What is the highest RPM the sled recorded with the belt on?

my highest rpm was 8000 that i have seen on the max recall

7900 but norm is 7800 to 7850

I must be gettin a bad reading or something cause my max was 8500 and change.

I know there is a ignition retard. Does anyone know what RPM it starts at?

I know it was a bad reading but mine showed 12000 one time last year. I dropped off a lip of a really steep hill and let the sled pick up way too much speed before blipping the throttle. When I did, the clutch backshifted into jake brake mode and way over-revved the motor before I had a chance to get back on the gas Figured that was it for the 900 but it didn't seem to hurt it too bad

7850 on mine....

That was probably because i was running 10-66's @ 8300 ft for a trip.......

Mine used to get up to 8200ish, changed secondary spring and now it's about 7900 tops.

8600 on my m7 with 68 gram weights at 1300ft above sea level in revy parking lot. Was fine up top tho.
