I was wondering what the torque specs are for the lower gear on a 2002 rmk 700 144"???? Anyone Know???

Snug it good, and use locktite. That has never failed me.

Clean the hole out with carb spray to get any lube out of it otherwise locktite will not set up. Also make sure it's at least 40 degrees when you do it or it won't set up. You don't want to see what happens when that bolt backs out too far.

NOTE : The washer is dished out, make sure the offset is to the outside. It work's as a Lock washer. Use blue Locktite.

why do I have to use blue locktite. red locktite won't work in this case????

Factory used blue loctite. If you ever need to get the bolt off with red loctite, you are going to have to replace the bearing and seal. Red loctite requires 350 degrees to release.
Also going to be tough to get that much heat in it without messing up something else.
