Are we supposed to tighten them, or are they self tightening like I've read. The owners manuel says see SkiDoo dealer, but it looks like you can tighten it if you want. Anybody know the truth?
They are not self adjusting, the only way they could maybe selfadjust is by overtightening the plastic slider block like mine came and then it wears in. And that just doesn't seem to me to be the way to do things.
I called my dealer... asking the same questions. They metioned that you should tighten it so there is not any slack in the secondary... i.e. it can't rock back and forth without moving the track.
