just milled the head on my xm etec since nobody was doing much performance mods. Talk about bottom end it about pulls your arms off!!!

Did you account for the super tight squish band??
I was wondering about doing the same as I only ride above 5000 ft and Doo has to set them up for people to hold wide open across a lake at sea level. Do you know how much was taken off?

Piston gets tight to the head in a hurry guys be careful. You will need to re cut the squish if you cut much at all...and that takes a pretty big lathe or a cnc mill

I was told Ralph at Split seconds was porting and doing a head cut ,Making up around 12 hp

The machine shop where i had it done took off 35 thousandths with a 20 thosandths squish. Runs great no probs what so ever! Head bolts 22 ftlbs and injectors are 45 ftlbs. I ride at 7500 and above.

If you remove an ETec injector from the head, you are supposed to be replacing the o-rings and crush ring inside. Its easy to do and will guarantee proper seating of the injector nozzle. The kits are inexpensive and available.
