I have a 2 year old and was wondering if I should get him a Kitty cat or a 120? Any advise?

I vote 120.

They are only slightly larger than the kitty kat, but are a lot more capable. My 8 year old is moving off the 120 and onto a snow scoot this year. She would have out grown a kitty kat a long time ago. It has enough power to pull other sleds (saucers, toboggans) for multiple kids to have fun. I weight 230 and ride it to pull 2-4 kids pretty easy. Highly doubt the kitty kat would do that.

I also installed a remote kill switch so I can remotely kill the sled if the situation requires it.

I second the 120 motion for all the same reasons plus the fact you can readily get parts for the 120's. 550iq

I have both a Kitty Kat and a POLARIS 120

The Kitty Kat is a P.O.S, IMHO. It doesn't even want to go through, let's say 6 inches snow, barely goes up an incline, where with the 120, it's not a problem at all.

The 120's have a wider ski stance, more reliable 4-stroke engine, way more suspension travel, and a more aggressive track. They're quieter and smoother running as well.

The 120's also have an adjustable speed governor so you can adjust it to your kid's riding abilities.

I've seen used 120's for $ 700 in GOOD condition.

The POLARIS 120's from 2000 to 2013 are pretty much identical, so if you can find a deal on a used older 120, as long as it's in good condition, don't hesitate to but it just cause it's a 2000 or 2001 model.

Santa brought a pink 120 to my daughter when she was 3 1/2, and it was probably her favorite gift of all.

Hope this helps

I vote for the 120 also. We started all our kids on the 120, but they have moved on to Scoots now. We still have the 120 & it gets used to pull sleds around. I won.t let them pull a sled behind the Scoots yet.......they don't understand the whip thing. Our 120 is a Ski Doo with a Honda Engine the same engine they use in their generators, the thing should run forever or at least until the grandkids get to ride it.......

thing is they both hold value and are gold just before xmass.
for 2 I would get the kitty cat sell next yr and get the 120.
if your kid is big then go stright to the 120 if small then the kitty.
with the kitty u dont have to worry to much make a packed track with your sled in the yard and let them go when they try to leave the packed track they get stuck and have to come get u to get un stuck.with the 120 they can leave the track and go.
