Is anyone removing this duct work? I am installing side vents so I sould have lots of cooling. Just want to know if the duct work directed to the motor is necessary to get the hot air out. Would be nice to remove that thing. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

i removed it for venting. I also plan on putting some bug screen on the vent where the intake used to be. that should stop any snow from getting in there

I decided to keep the duct directed to the motor (to assist with cooling or removing hot air from under the hood). I got rid of the duct for clutches as the venting will provide enough cool air for that area. I did need to use some rivets to hold the duct I wanted in place but most are hid under the vent I installed.

Can't wait. Three more days then we are off to Revy. Should be a blast.
