Just purchased 2 79 tx's, 340 & 440. Can i long track(136) these and if so who has done it with some info, thanks

my question would be, do they have enough power to spin a long track? Like said above anything is possible, I guess...

Are they fan or liquids. i would say a liquid geared down would work ok but dont expect to be the highmark on the hill and the beating you get out of spring skis....i love old sleds but not much...

my friend took a 99 rmk 136 stuffed it under a 79 or 80 tx 340 free air, it will work I believe he had to cut the outer cogs off drive wheel and drill new holes in tunnel for the suspension to sit further back

I would upgrade the rear suspension to at least an X10 and go from there. I think they would work well, as long as you keep in perspective what they are for the performance you expect out of them.
