Looking for some input on a RX1. Guy says that it stalled out on him and when he went to restart it turned over hard. When he looked in the oil tank it was full all the way to the top. Drained the oil out of it and it only had about an ounce in the motor. Any thoughts to what's going on here? thanks

There is a check valve on the line going from the tank to the engine its one way flow to flow towards the engine its possibly stuck closed, never heard of one failing but it appears your pump is working and everything is flowing correctly from the engine into the tank.

When doing a new motor install sometimes you may need to burp the oil system before start up. To do this you put 4-5psi of comrpessed air into the oil tank for a few seconds (dont hold it to long and add air to the system!) what this does is open the check valve and the oil drains into the engine and as long as there is oil pressure it never closes.
