I wieghed my 09 nytro last year and i thenk it was 620lb. that was full of fuel with a spare belt. The suprising thing was that it was only 40lbs heavier then my 07 rev. My rev also had fox shocks front and rear so it was a little lighter then stock. I don't find my nytro heavy at all.

Hi guys, a Swedish magazine had an interessting test between three turboed sleds and one stock sled in it's latest edition, the sleds where Yamaha Apex MTX MCX 162", Yamaha Nytro MTX MCX 153" with trail gastank, Ski-Doo Renegade 1200 MCX "Summit edition 154"" and a Ski-Doo 800 Summit XP 154". they weighted the sleds filled up, ready to drive, but free from snow and ice.
Apex: 723lbs
Nytro: 683lbs
Ski-Doo 1200: 622lbs
Ski-Doo XP: 547lbs

After driving 28miles mostly in powder they put them on the scale, to see how much snow and ice build up adds to the weight, they didn't fill up any gas.
Apex: 780lbs, +57lbs
Nytro: 754lbs, +71lbs
Ski-Doo 1200: 670lbs, +42lbs
Ski-Doo XP: 613lbs, +66lbs

This measure should have been done several times to get an average, i guess Nytro add more weight then Apex because the front arms, but diffrence between the two Ski-Doo's seem a little odd.

I know that the Nytro engine is lighter then both Ski-Doo 1200 and Apex engine, but don't remember with how much, i even believe that Apex engine was a little lighter then the 1200, but not with much.
