We got a note from Sandra Mitchell, Director of Public Lands for the Idaho State Snowmobile Association, asking for comments about proposed Recommended Wilderness in Idaho’s Salmon-Challis National Forest.
Attached (PDF) is the map and information on the analysis for areas to be designated Recommended Wilderness. If you know anything about any of these areas, be sure to share your information with ISSA. This includes current use, use levels, importance of the area, is motorized a historic use, etc. Mitchell is currently drafting comments and need our input.
