There weren’t too many surprises on the list of the best-selling products at Weller Recreation (https://wellerrec.com), a multi-line powersports dealer located in the small town of Kamas, UT.
But when owner Paul Weller shared his list of the best-selling products at Weller Recreation, there were a couple of surprises. On top of the list would be the 1+1 seat, which helps turn a single-seat snowmobile into a two-seater. Oh yea, a two-seater on a mountain sled. And the reason might be even more of a surprise.
Weller explained his dealership, which is located near the base of some of Utah’s most spectacular mountains, is near some of the state’s most popular vacationland—meaning there are lots of cabins scattered about. And that means people need to get into their snow-bound cabins in the winter. What better way than a 1+1 seat, which is definitely different than a two-up snowmobile. The 1+1 seat can be removed so the sled can return to its original form—a powder monster that can play after the carrying work is done.
Weller said the 1+1 seat is also popular with skiers and snowboarders who use sleds to access the backcountry and untracked powder.
While the 1+1 seat is definitely a big seller at Weller’s, there are other hot products that consistently do well at the dealership. Here they are in no particular order.
