skidoo brembo brakes are sticking

Q My ’97 Ski-Doo Formula SL has a Brembo brake system. The brakes stick and get extremely hot. I have cleaned the calipers and master cylinder of old fluid and replaced with new fluid DOT 4 as recommended. The calipers seem to release after applying [the brake] while sitting in the shop, but heat up after a short distance on the trail. Do you have any suggestions as why this happens? - jamars
A Check if you have a warped rotor. If it is warped, you will typically feel a pulsating feeling through the brake lever while braking. Even if you don’t feel this pulsation, the rotor may be warped just enough to scuff the pads as it rotates creating excessive heat. – Jerry Matthews, Starting Line Products
