I run the pc 2.6 and like it for an all around track, hard to beat. If some one would have told be that .35 of an inch (2.25-2.6) would have made that much of a difference I never would have believed it. The 2.6 pc is durable and works. I have not cut the fingers off but some say that is another improvement.
That being said the 2.75 from Polaris looks good also, the problem with that is no one has much or any time on it and no one has tried one on the M series.

My vote would be for a 2.6" PC. They grab way more than the 2.25" PC and are really durable. Works at least as well as the CE 2.5 with the serrated teeth I have on my M7. The 3" PC is even better in deep snow. We put one in a 2009 M1000, but it can hit the back of the tunnel when the suspension bottoms out.

2.6 for sure. Fits the stock tunnel, drivers, everything and is a really good track. Is also affordable. I cut the fingers from my 2.25" and it made a nice difference. Same for the 2.6 from what I've read and heard.
