So, you think you're an advanced rider and it's time to put your skills to the test in world-class terrain? Or, are you a strong rider and just want to explore different terrain? Or you are developing your skills as a rider and want input from a pro? Are you looking for an opportunity to ride w/ a pro but don't know if it's worth the coin? Going back and forth because of what you see/hear regarding these riders' reputations/professionalism?

He's humble but confident, he's safety-oriented but is always trying to push the envelope of excitement, he wants to push his clients but knows when to adjust the level of riding and terrain. He's patient but isn't afraid to remind you that you're repeating the same mistakes over and over even though he's demonstrated the correct procedure. AND, after riding, he'll even join you for dinner and drinks. You'll likely see other pro riders as you refresh yourself w/ a cold beverage and fill your moaning stomach at The Pony or Mile One Eating House.

Five of us from down here in WA went up and spent several days in Pemberton a few weeks back. We happened to arrive just as they were getting dumped on. Needless to say, it was an incredible white welcome for us and the excitement was hard to contain. A few of us who arrived early had dinner w/ Jorli and enjoyed the opportunity to get to know him, his operation, and learn of his experience a bit in advance.

We all rode w/ Jorli for 2 days in the deepest snow any of us had experienced. 4-5/+ feet of the wonderful white fluff. It was clear that we were out of our element as riders in the super deep but the challenge of riding in that depth and the rewarding snow over the hood, the handlebars and in the face or even over the head was exhilarating and kept us wanting more. There is plenty to be had as Jorli is so familiar with the area that he is able to bring you to the best riding spots in his tenure where no one has ridden. Heck, it would be hard to find the areas if you didn't spend as much time up there as he does. To say we didn't get stuck would be lying. But, Jorli was right there w/ encouragement, helpful tips for extracting ourselves out of seemingly baseless snow and even jumping in when necessary (i.e. we were exhausted, out of breath, etc) to launch our sleds out of the tiring grip of the powdery white sea.

Obviously every group or individual's experience up north is going to be different but Jorli is able to customize the riding to match the ability, the comfort level, and the goals of each customer. While I won't quote the daily rates for his service (please contact Jorli), I will say that we all came back feeling as if we got our money's worth and then some.

For accommodations, obviously you could select from whatever hotel, motel, B&B you'd like but we did gets rooms at the Lilooet River Lodge (B&B) http://www.lillooetriverlodge.com. Owners Valerie and Richard were great. Very comfortable lodge, excellent food and they make it clear they will do what's necessary for you to be comfortable and satisfied.
