So I went up to Oregon Trail sports and picked up my new Viper from Michelle. If anyone has ever been there, she is one busy person! While we were hammering out me giving her money and signing for things, the phone was ringing off the hook!

Anyhow, I live down in California and have a severe lack of yamaha dealers that are close and more importantly sell snowmobiles. The other factor is the price, and Michelle beat everyone out by a considerable amount. So I ordered up my viper last spring with the $2k mpi boost option. My wife and I loaded up the kids and dogs, and ran a marathon 25 hours up and back to retrieve my new toy.

I have a 2013 Proclimb M8 limited 153 as well so I lined them up next to each other to see what the differences are.

Sorry for the image quality on some of these pictures, my camera has been dropped a few times so it doesn't always take the best pictures.

proclimb NO BRACE (the HCR came with a brace, but the rest of the cat lineup did not)

A little fuzzy, but yes there is an anti-stab kit up there, and you can see the braces a little better.

That is it for now. If anyone wants measurements or pictures of anything else just let me know! I'll put up another thread when I install the turbo, but that will be in the installation and review section.

Once we have snow I can be unloading in about an hour from my house, early and late season it can take 2 hours. I'm active duty Air Force (12 years), and 3 years ago I was stationed on Maui...excellent place for turtles, sandy beaches, and cocktails in the sun. TERRIBLE place for a guy with a snow addiction! I just hope my next assignment keeps me somewhat close to the snow.

Looks awesome Eric. Glad Michelle took care of you like she did me. Pretty funny actually meeting her in person after so long and actually seeing how small her place is. Cant wait to ride with you and that machine this year...and thanks for all the pics!!!
