got a 01 polaris rmk 800 with a brand new motor in it that has no power. The sled will only go about 20 mph. It will start fine and idle fine but it just has no power any one got any idea what could be wrong?

its getting fuel and spark. i also checked the stator and if i did it right i think its ok any one no what else I could check.

whats the best place to get a shop manual for the sled?
You can buy Service manuals from Polaris online for about $90 or google and buy a PDF file of it from a number of online vendors for $20-30. Might want to check your belt deflection, clutch faces or belt shine may be showing something binding. Pull the belt with the track off the ground and turn the secondary to see if the drive system is binding. Could be as simple as track tension with it off the ground and the chain case and the brake binding I have seen issues with 2 other sleds. II recall one was something with the brake rotors or pads. I don't recall what the other was. But they both dropped the rear suspension, pulled the chain case chain and found other minor issues in the process and used the opportunity to do some preventive maintenance.
