M8 pull rope on a M7 ?

I know some one has done this right.
Sounds like maybe Racin Station might have one
Anyone else ?

I hate to buy a $200 starter for an M7 when I have a dozen for the m8/m1000 in stock.

I also don't need to spend the time making one if its been done.

The king cat conversion idacatman3 did should work as the m7 uses the same Recoil

Minet, the M7 and M8 definitely do not use the same recoil.

We do make the adapter to put the M8/1000 recoil on older engines. The M7 is a special case, because it's got a motor mount that mounts to the mag housing. We're not sure if anyone we've sold a plate to has put it on an M7. My dad is going to check his records and see if he can find out.

He's pretty sure it can be done, but you may have to notch the plate, and the recoil as well, to fit around the mount.

I can probably find our dimensions sheet around somewhere if anyone would like to make their own as well.
